do people change?

or do they just grow? can you be a different person?

i just watched an episode of some late night tv garbage with the stupid electric guitar in my hand that is highly less favored than the piano and the moral of the episode was people never change.

i don't think people change, but they grow. i think they find they're full potential eventually. we all mess up. some of us mess up a lot in a short amount of time, giving a stereotype of who we are. i don't believe that we should be so quick to judge. we all are though.

i said early i opened a target credit card, and the lady ringing me out was so rude. i called her some names as soon as i bbm'd some people to tell them i just opened a credit card at friggin target. maybe she wasn't really a rude person though. maybe her kid was sick and she wanted to be with him. maybe i looked like someone who hurt her in the past. maybe today was just not her day to be in the red bullseye t-shirt (which is not for sale.. i asked). next time i go in there, which will be soon to pay off the card that i just maxed out, i hope she's there, and i really hope she's smiling. as much as i hope she will be i know in my head she won't. she's going to still be rude. i'm fully aware i'm judging her and i don't have a problem admitting it. it's bad when you don't know you're doing it.

all relating back, maybe she will change. maybe she'll meet a man or woman that will change her life and she'll be happier than ever. but i bet that rudeness will still be inside her, because i don't think it goes away. we do a good job getting older and knowing how to hide the parts of us we don't want others to acknowledge. i guess if we change, we aren't really who we are anymore. bottom line, stay rude, honey. we need you to make the world spin. you'll grow one day but don't ever change. don't sell yourself short. yell at whoever you want and give a dirty look to everyone you walk by. if you ruin someone's day, think of how my power you have.

on that note, don't let someone ruin you're day... think of how much power you're giving them. we only have 365 of those a year... don't waste one being mad at the lady at target. she just trying to survive on the same round thing as you before the ice melts and kills the polar bears.
